My name is Patrick Fitzsimmons. I am a PhD candidate in economics at George Mason University, focusing on economic history and political economy. I am interested in early historical development and in the effects of informal and formal institutions on development. I am an applied microeconomist but consider myself to be interdisciplinary, utilizing data and methods from paleoclimatology, psychology, archeology, history, geographical sciences, and more.
My website has my current CV, a list of ongoing research projects and papers, and my teaching history. If you want to request or chat about anything, please feel free to send me an email (located on my CV).
